What do you do as Senior Project Manager at Baltic Cable?
“My role is to manage a program portfolio of development and implementation initiatives mainly related to Commercial operations. We have several parallel projects; implementing models for Business, IT, and Business Operations, and it is my job to coordinate the team, define and drive the needed development. Our way of working is highly collaborative and every day I get to dive into new knowledge areas to get a grasp of how to address certain topics and problems”

What inspired you to pursue a career in the energy industry?
“It is challenging, complex, interesting and has a large impact on our society – that is a real motivator.”

What projects are you working on right now?
“Baltic Cable aims to Go-Live on the Intraday Market, to create even more effective use of our Interconnector. As the Program manager, I closely work together with the core team where I specifically focus on planning, governance and project steering of all work needed. The work involves collaboration with European electricity market stakeholders and regional partners, as well as preparation, design and development of the business processes, IT-systems and procedures that we need to get in place for Baltic Cable to enter the Intraday Market.”

What do you enjoy most about your work at Baltic Cable?
“It is a very flat and flexible organization with super skilled experts that work and collaborate to solve a multitude of challenging and complex tasks. We are a great team with a positive and supportive atmosphere. I learn new things every day, from my colleagues and from working with this very interesting sector– it is very rewarding.”

What do you do outside of work?
“I love to be outdoors, whether it is to go for a long walk in the countryside with my husband and our dog, or traveling to go skiing, hiking or biking. When you find me indoors, I am probably reading or working out at the gym, preparing for the outdoor season.”
